This year our key client SCP launched their new designs at the Internazionale del Mobile 2009.
All of their upholstery is developed and produced by Coakley&Cox Ltd.

The Permanent Collection
This year, SCP presents the Permanent Collection, it features new furniture and upholstery pieces, the inaugural SCP Boxed Collection and a range of traditionally made woven Welsh blankets and cushions.
Substance
SCP have long advocated a sensible and responsible use of materials. Following an intense period of research and development, we are now able to offer fully sustainable upholstery. Moving away from the use of petro-chemical based foams; SCP are now using natural replacements like latex rubber, coconut fibre and wool. This process is environmentally sound and has led us to completely re-assess how we actually make our furniture. There is now a renewed commitment at our Norfolk factory to combine more traditional hand-made techniques with modern methods of production. This blending of techniques, alongside our commitment to only use wood from sustainable sources, means our furniture is now better made, completely sustainable and will ultimately last longer.
